Our Journey to Keystone

I’ve spent my career building innovative companies that drive meaningful change. Over the past three decades, I’ve founded four companies, created thousands of jobs, and seen ventures continue to scale – with two acquired and two projected to exceed a combined $1 billion valuation. In 2005, I co-founded Criterion Systems and led it for nearly two decades, growing it into a recognized cybersecurity leader before its acquisition in 2023.
But after Criterion, I knew I wasn’t finished building. I wanted to create something broader – a platform that could combine my passion for technology and entrepreneurship with a commitment to investing in industries that reflect my values: creativity, service, and impact.
Jyoti:
My journey has always centered on bringing people and ideas together to create value and opportunity. Joining Promod in this next chapter felt natural – our paths have long aligned in a shared vision of what business can and should be. Together, we set out to build a platform that champions innovation while staying grounded in purpose and community.

Together, we founded Keystone International Ventures with a simple but powerful idea: to build a private equity platform that merges technology, creativity, and purpose – and takes a hands-on approach to guiding and growing our portfolio companies.
At Keystone, we’re investing across high-impact verticals – from emerging technologies to hospitality, healthcare, and media – each chosen for its potential to transform lives. Keystone Media channels a passion for storytelling into film and television projects, including a series inspired by Promod’s 45-year leadership journey. Keystone Healthcare focuses on expanding access to affordable, life-saving treatments in underserved markets. And through our hospitality ventures, we’re creating spaces that foster connection, culture, and belonging.
At the core of our strategy, our Emerging Technology Division identifies and scales breakthrough innovations in AI, cybersecurity, and data-driven intelligence that are shaping the future of critical industries. By partnering with visionary founders and companies, we turn complex challenges into actionable solutions – enabling smarter decisions, safer systems, and stronger, more resilient industries.
